I never run more than 4mm of ride height... but keep in mind that 3.5-4mm is also including the chassis tape that is at least 1mm thick. so technically i do raise the car up for asphalt. An advantage of running the Associated chassis tape is that one piece lasts me an entire season and its super heavy which equals a lower cg for looser surfaces

easiest and quickest way i measure the caster is putting the car flat on the setup board with no tires, take a camber gauge and set it to what i want, then line up the camber gauge to the kingpin and compare it. its not an exact way to do it but it gets me pretty close when i want to try something quickly.
