sorry if this has been asked before.
Does the app require the ESC software to be updated? Cable works, app works but says connecting to Speed Controller then no data. Hoping to use this at the track tonight so was testing out today

Details:
RS Pro - got red light in the middle on
Hotwire - got flashing green
Phone: I-phone 5 oh wait just kidding - Galaxy Note 2 with 4.1 software
