One of the above posts said I was running the engine too lean. In order to get the engine to idle, I had to lean out the low speed needle. Once it idled good, I richened the needle just enough to keep the engine idling. As I got near the end of the break in period I richened the low speed again as the engine was getting more powerfull . I did not change the high speed needle until after I ran over 10 tanks. I barely changed the high speed needle from stock (approx 20min position) and the engine runs great. I think running this engine with the 30% nitro and no restrictor allows more power without consuming more gas. The engine temp is around 230-240 and seems fine so far. I think the engine is far from lean as the needles are currently close to stock. Once spring comes around, I will see if the engine is running too lean during a real race...
