Strange. I have the purple cap motor, maybe that's the difference. It is either angled forward to where the C tab is right below the slipper shaft (17.5 gearing) or way back to where I don't want my wires.
The shaft side cap only has 4 holes to thread into and they are on the bottom. The top is machined out and pretty, but I would have benefitted with more mounting holes.
It worked out though, I ran A & B below the tower straight in and C through the bottom center of the tower and turned it in to grab the solder post.
