One of the tracks I run on is considered as a low grip track. It's a cement concrete track with a painted coating of some sort.
Would you use the same weight oil as used on the carpet track?
With low grip situations I would start with 400wt shock oil instead of the typical 500wt that most are using in high traction situations. Then go from there with either dropping the shocks down a hole or two or softer springs just depending on how the car feels.
