OK how about a little race report action?

This past Saturday saw a several new faces and familiar faces with new vehicles. We also saw some really close racing all day long with TQ being decided in most classes by a second or less.

So lets get to the racing and as always we start with novice. Matthew Jacobs took the tq for the A main by just barely over a second over his brother Andrew both where sporting there new B4.2 rs buggies and had a marked improvement with them. The story of the day was Austin Walker however as the kid was just tearing up the track all day as long as he could keep his vehicle moving. He dominated the amain running away from everybody until his truck let him down once again handing the lead over to Andrew Jacobs with Matthew rounding out the top three.

2wd buggy saw Roger Lowery TQ and run away with the main while I had a battle with the pipe. Roger took the main I followed in second with Derek Fisher rounding out the top three.

4wd shortcourse saw Mr Slim Jim Pate TQ despite Darren Hooker owning the fastest lap in all three heats. Slim started out by taking the lead and attempting to run off with it till a series of bobbles let Roger Lowery slip by and stretch that lead Slim did manage to hold onto second and Darren Hooker rounded out the top three once again taking fast lap honors.

Stadium truck saw the closest racing of the day with all three competitors qualifying within a second of each other. Wayne Jacobs managed to find himself in the lead early on while I Josh Dawson and I battled it out for second for a lap until Josh checked out on my loaner truck. It took a few laps until Josh managed to take the lead but Wayne did not let him run off and the two battled it out till the end with Josh taking the win Wayne in second and myself rounding out the top three.

Ok on to 2wd shortcourse. Josh Dawson was making his final appearance in this class as Austin Walker had made a deal to buy his truck from him and he had something to prove. Josh jumped out to an early lead and would not let go of it. Roger struggled a bit with his truck but managed to finish in second with it while Bill Horman rounded out the top three.

I will get the winners pics posted up as soon as I can get them uploaded to photobucket and remember practice this coming Saturday from 10am till 5pm.
