I find it amusing how a brand takes off in 1 area while another takes off in other areas. In Alabama we have 70%-80% AE, 20%-30% Losi, 1 guy occasionally runs a Kyosho, & another runs Shumacher, & that's it. No other brands represented at all. No Durango, no Yokomo, no Team C, & no Serpent (yet
). For the last few years AE has ruled the roost with a few Losi's for 1/8, but Mugen has exploded recently.
Around here folks switch brands like I do shoes. Whatever the next latest is, everyone has to have it. Mostly between Kyosho, AE and TLR although now a few Xray buggies are showing up. Everyone had to have the 22 when first out, then it was the RB6, then just about everyone is running the Centro. I am sure the B5 will be next. That's funny how it works that way.
