Default F1 Fuel

To answer some F1 Fuel questions raised tonight

Ferrari uses Shell Optimax pump gas for their F1 car - 98+ Octane unleaded. Not considered "Race" gas due to it not having Lead in it.

Its just a highly refined unleaded.

Some nice engineering going on to get an engine to run 20k RPM, generating 900+Hp, from gas only 5 Octane higher than what you can get at the pump from 3.0L

Very unfortunate that the Mighty V10's are going away in 2006 2.4L V8's are coming.
