These were designed for VCS shocks commonly used in pan cars (1/12th, 1/10th road course and oval). Sounds like you are referring to dampening for off road jumps. We designed them so the 3 coils completely coil bind after 1/4" of travel which is what pan cars typically use.

It would be my pleasure to get you the charts and graph of these springs in comparison to regular VCS springs.
dont these shocks still use oil though?
