Their sales tax is called vat and its differnt from our tax system. They dont pay alot of other taxes we pay. There is a lot of people in politics that want to do a vat (value added tax) here in the US. The problem is that they will not do away with all the other taxes we have to pay and this vat will just be more wealth redistribution.
