I always mount my TC bodies before paint. Once I have the body lined up how I like it I mark it on the outside with a sharpie. Then drill a small hole (1-2mm) and send it off to paint. When I get them back I cut them out using an exacto knife to score the edge, then just break off the scraps. Last just ream the holes and done.
