You don't say! j/p

While there are not many longitudinally mounted engines in AWD cars, they can indeed suffer from increased torque steer based on engine torque. Here's a few examples; Skyline, every AWD Subaru, older Ford Cosworth Escorts, GMC Sy/Ty, etc

Ever wonder why some drag cars pick one front wheel up in the air? There is enough torque present to pick a wheel up because that action is easier than moving the car forward. Usually this happens because the chassis is not stiff enough to support that power level, but can also occur from extremely soft rear suspension settings (among other things). This phenomenon can greatly increase the feeling of torque steer in AWD vehicles with longitudinally mounted engines by unloading a front wheel. This can also happen in AWD vehicles with transversely mounted engines but not to the same extent!

Wanna really melt your brain? Is that phenomenon caused by the direction of the engine rotation or the rear driveshaft rotation, only with respect to AWD & RWD w/ longitudnal mounted engine?

Sorry for hijacking the thread. If it's any consolation, I'm buying a JRX-S!!! ....just hoping I'm not assembling it on Wednesday Feb.9th (know what I mean?)
