I haven't read the entire thread yet and done homework. But has anyone tried the car yet with f104 rubber/foam wheels with Shimizu tires?
I personally dont like the idea of going 1s....there is no point really IMO. No need for special ESC's or boosters or receiver packs....keep it 2s so its simple. If there is a rubber tire made to keep the scale looks then cool. Also 2s would help if these are raced outside because of the extra weight.
I think it should be 21.5 motors with 2s....foam or rubber.
The problem with the F104 rubber tires is that the tires are no where near scale looking because of the side wall on the tires. What is needed is more like a sedan type low profile looking tire to keep the scale looks with the width of the F1 tires. If that doesnt happen and its foam then you might as well just race WGT with a neon blob door stop.
