4600kv is pretty high for an indoor track. I'm running the Tenshock 4400kv geared low*(62/12) on a 1/8 scale outdoor track. A motor in the 3800-4200 range would maximize your gearing options. And clay compound Ions work well on high-bite clay. Good luck.
Agreed on the 4600. I have only run this truck on outdoor dirt and pavement tracks so I will definitely be taking my 3800 along to see which does best for me in practice. Thanks for the confirmation on the Ions. Should be a good laugh for the locals ... me racing indoor clay for the first time!

Did this just start happening or has it been from the get go? If it just started how long have you been running, what condition is the pulley and belt and what are your tensioners set at?
