The indoor track I run on is about 75' long, I gear my Tekno sct410 for 34mph on the same track and it runs that fast. How big of a pinion would I need just to get started. What 34 or higher. Seems strange to me. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks

KV just gives you an idea on the torque output of a motor.
I have used the viper 17.5 in my 22SCT, great motor. very torquey down low, but I felt it kind of falls off on top end. they do get hot a little faster, which is not ideal fro spec racing.

I run a Schuur speed 17.5 now in my 22SCT. its smoother, and a very usable power band. it runs a bit cooler too, and I think its just a tad lighter as well.
