Traj,

i believe you do. i had a similar issue with the RRR. you'll have to file off the burs on the 2 speed changer, particularly the hole for the 3x3 grub screw (part 153 of Step 25, on pg 18). This should free up the 2 speed. Apart from this lil' hand fitting, you'll probably need to do the following:

1. boring the lower front suspension arms with a 3.05mm reamer (if you have this) or 3mm drill bit

2. use a soldering iron or flame to seal the sides of the fuel (on some early models)

and

3. outfit a 0.5mm shim at the front of the front upper suspension shafts, to take off the slop, so as not to disturb the caster settings. Just ensure that after putting on the shims that there's no binding of the suspension arm.

Except for this, the RRR should piece together very nicely.
