I just noticed there does not seem to be an 8.5 in MMM. weird. Anyway, a few more grams in mod wont mater. I think I am going to try out the SP 8.5 in buggy, its cheap and if I dont like it, I dont loose out much.
You can always add more timing to the V3 or MMM using different sensor boards. Both are great motors. Sometimes people select the V3.0 because there are more wind choices.
If you look at pictures of many of our top and pro drivers they run both the MMM and V3.0 depending on the wind and track
