Yup..... I also keep the throttle and braking rods parallel and flat to each other. If slide carburator ( the ball ) hit the graphite upper deck, then you need to dremel the graphite to make some rooms...... if you crash so bad, the upper deck won't hit the slide carburator directly.
I think Mugen designed the layout with Novarossi engine, so other brands need extra attention to make it perfect and safe.
I'm running JP FX 5 and FX 3.
