Using a spool with increase your risk of damaging your fears in a big wreck, especially when hitting the walls and still being on the throttle. Alot of stress on the gears. I have not had this problem but have on other shft cars in the past when running spools, (PRo4 and Cuda) both ate gears when I had a spool.
