For what your going to pay to rebuild that engine you would be better off just to start fresh ..You can buy a new Picco Boost 28 for just over $200.00 and it will be every bit as much engine and more then that 26.......When you consider with a rebuild you need new bearings,piston/sleeve,rod,wristpin your going to spend nearly $200 anyways.....Also consider that your 26 may have wear on the crankpin....sometimes the cranks are quite worn and not worth putting a new rod onto......So basically when a old engine gets blown up its often not worth rebuilding, often cheaper and easier to just buy a fresh new engine and start from scratch........
