Ran my Rev 8 at the weekend at the UK Nationals. A very steep learning curve as we were using a new additive list that is more like the additives used in the US, SXT 3 etc.
I was also using Ulti tyres for the first time.
After a very challenging first day, I got the car sorted yesterday. It felt nice and was easy to drive, as usual let down by my driving. Paul Lomas also tried his new Rev 8 yesterday.
The car certainly generated plenty of grip, and was sympathetic to over driving.
I had mine configured with an inline battery, pretty much the same as RedBullFiXX's setup from IIC
We did have an issue however with the chassis plate. There was a 'car killer' corner on to the straight, many drivers of all abilities visited the wall during the meeting. For me on Saturday and Paul on Sunday, the wall won!
