spec it to a limit...to much and its 21.5 TC...imo......
There are Tamiya 24mm rims with different offsets. Even with a spec tire you can still use whatever rims you want. Just a 24mm is highly recommended.
Spec tire puts all cars/people on the same playing field. I am all for it. Just need to tune your car to fit the track conditions and not need different sets for different tracks... Ultimately it's your tracks decision to run the spec tire or not. Just sounds like the national events that run the class would be using the spec tire in the future so if you plan to run in that you might as well start using them.
