The truck your running is very heavy and puts a big strain on the batteries that why they are getting a little warm. What kind of a banana plug are you using, is it solid or is it the caged kind? If its the caged kind I would lose them and go to a solid plug.
Also how long are your races, 5600 for the SCT410 is probably pushing the pack to its limit on runtime as well.
