Yea that was kinda my point. If the layout is the exact same or very very close and every class went faster that just shows how much technology has moved in just a year. Along with guys figuring out the cars even more and such.

I do beleive technology is getting better but for sure the track layout and grip level was most of it. In 1/12 I pretty much ran the same setup almost indentical to last year except for the tires and last years best lap all week long was a 8.41 and this years best lap was 8.14 !
I would think the track was about 2 tenths quicker this year, last years best 13.5 lap was 9.8? and this year was 9.6? !
