Here is my current setup:
Shocks
Frt 40wt AE oil, MIP piston with one blue valve (reversed). 4mm int/ext limiters.
Rr 35wt AE oil, MIP piston with one blue valve (reversed). 4mm int/ext limiters.
Mounting position = stock
Diff
Fnt = 7K, Rr = 5K, cDiff = 5 pins
Sway bars = 2.0mm front, 2.2mm rear
Camber links
Front = stock
Rear = inner 5mm spacers, outer 4mm spacers
Rear toe 3.5 degrees toe in (M2C rear block).
21grams of lead weight located on each side of the servo (42g total).
Rx8 current limiter = 0, Pro4 4000kv motor 62/14 gearing
Shorty lipo located forward (sideways)
AE XP1313 servo mounted flat on the chassis.
I run on a small tight indoor track, which they used to water a lot and it had super grip (we ran slicks) but lately they run it drier and I now run AKA Handlebars front and rear (super soft). I was running 1mm internal limiters in the shocks but the local fast guy said to try more limiters to lower the ride height for better handling (less traction rolling) on the smooth high bite track, Now that they run it drier I am going to reduce the number of internal limiters, to 1 or 2mm. I tried 7pins but I found the truck wanted to swap ends so I settled on 5 pins which hooks up good and keeps the truck nice and stable under acceleration.
Here is some 4x4 action at my local track, Pro Chad Bradley took the win.
