I changed my question to address to Ryan!
I personally don't use temp cyt off since ambient temperature can affect charge.
Protrak has the best system for measuring temperature since it has 4 probes instead of 1 like most chargers.
For the past 2 1/2 years I own a Schulze Electronics chanrger and never used the temperature probe! I expect to do the same with much more!
Most likely I'll have both peak and temp cut off and whatever stop s the charge first!
I should get it this week, and as soon as I play with it I'll ket everyone now my thoughts!

My personal point of view, is that temperature cut off is good (fixed temp cut off), since it never false peak and always cut off at the same temperature. While peak detect gives varying results, if the ambient temperature differ from charge to charge. Not to mention Lee82GX's example of charging a already charged pack WITH peack detect locked out...
But forget to mount that temp probe....
So I find that temp cut off cant stand alone.
That's my approach to this. But someone else might have a usefull input...
