Trust me, Racing 17.5 will make you a much better driver. You will learn what lines to take and throttle control. You have been getting much faster racing 17.5. For example look at reianldo he's usually on a faster pace than most mod guys racing a 17.5. I can tell you one thing you will go faster speed wise in mod but not pace wise.
