Given that they're rotating at the same speed, will the tire be fighting with itself as the outer edge wants to cover more distance per rotation. EG: roll a cone and it will always turn towards its small end.
Noob here, but can't you just unmount the tire once it begins "cone-ing" and re-mount it backwards so that the unconed part is on the inside, allowing you to get twice the life out of "coned" tires? Or does that make the tire act funny?
