Anyways....back to the B4!
When I ran 17.5 with my b4.2, I felt like the biggest tuning advantage came from roll center adjustments and gearing rather than weight. Tires also are the most obvious adjustment as well.
Honestly the best course of action IMO is to set it up how you want (I suggest the FT base seup, it's pretty solid and a good mid range starting point) and see what you like and dont like, and report back looking for solutions to the attributes you don't like. There are 100 ways to skin a cat and that's no exception here.
