Is that any different from regular "thinner" for cleaning brushes, etc.? I went to the hobby shop this evening, but they didn't have any rubber cement thinner.
I may have to look into that, too. At the recommendation of a friend, I tried acetone and it clouded the Lexan badly. Fortunately, I tried it on a piece of scrap so I didn't screw up my Firebird body any more than I already did.
The ronsonal brand definitely doesn't hurt the lexan or any paint. However it does have a slight bit of oil in it, so either remove the sticker after you paint or before you wash the body out with dawn or similar dish detergent.
