You can either mount the springs inboard or you can also mount them so they touch on the top of the links, ala AE. As you move the springs inboard, I believe they will feel stiffer. We will see where Max and Dave end up mounting them

Moving the springs inboard decreases the motion ratio acting upon them... thus, it requires a stiffer spring to yield the same effective spring rate as the same car would with the springs mounted over the links.
