I like running a 2s lipo rx pack for a couple reasons, but here are the big ones:

- In mod 12th I have enough drain on the battery (and get close enough to dumping as it is) that any extra strain I can eliminate is good.
- Extra voltage gives a very different steering feel, if the servo supports it (use KO). This is especially helpful with mod or when running WGT.
- Speedo fans run awesome on 2s lipo voltage and the best rx voltage fan (Sidepiece Seis) is a little big for a 12th.

I am currently running a little tiny 2s lipo pack that I believe is normally sold for usage in a foam glider/plane kit. Not sure on brand.

I disconnect the red wire from my speedo rx lead, btw.
