most people i have seen have switched the ball cups and rods for mugen or other brands.
They are actually one turn out from touching.
The front has to be narrowed when using GQ wheels as they have a 1 mm offset, and I normally run the front at 198mm with the rear at 199mm.
When I put the Rubber tyres or Wets on with the ING wheels and reduce the camber, the steering arms are then about 7/8 turns from touching.
The current steering arms haven't caused me any problems in the 16 months I've been running this car.
