I also believe that stability overule downforce since the run will be done over a straight section. Too much downforce will only decrease the top speed.

The tyres also needs to be a thin as possible to decrease the rolling resistance and that's probably why the Nissan Electric only have one front wheel...

Maybe use a 550 size motor with 4t or 3,5t and change the gearing for max revs and timing advance.
