I have a FW05RR and currently have a 07 JP Racing engine (it has only 3L through it) and I just cant seem to tune it (it has 4 needles not the normal 3) Many of my fellow racers have had a look at it to no avail. I do intend coming back to it, but I am an absolute amatuer and need to do some learning first.

I want a brand new engine to experience the break in, the tuning etc but the car is getting old (2004) and will not keep up with the new cars anyway, so i dont want to spend heaps on an engine as I am not very competitive and just want to run the thing around a track and get some much needed tuning/racing experience.

So...

Can anyone recommend a good cheap economical engine that i can run in it?

Must have:
SG Shaft
Rear Exhaust
Slide Carb

I want to spend about $150 only. The missus is watching over my shoulder
