I have a ntc3 rtr + with the .15 engine, and it has been raced and stacked a few times
never has it stripped the gears, maybe you are referring to a front oneway perhaps
the car is absolutely awesome, only problem I have found is sometimes the screws on the front diff casing especially come loose, (it does it on the rear, but not as bad) maybe
this is why you are stripping gears.
