I noticed no difference in motor temps between my RX8 and VTX8 when running "similar" profiles. Same goes for esc temps. My VTX8 is simply faster and easier to change settings on and I don't even have to get into the difference in how they're built.
Also, in all my years of racing and bashing I've never had a sensor cable come out on the motor or esc end, nor have I ever had a sensor cable fail. Some INSIST that they do all the time. I guess they're just bad asses . If it were to happen and I dnf, I'm not gonna go home, slap the wife, beat the kid, and kick the dog. I'm not a sponsored pro racing for a world championship. I'm a grown man, and I'll act accordingly.
