I would agree, BUT, you are burning up bearings each race? Have you ruled out gear mesh, clutch wear, and other things that could be wearing the bearing out? Sure that it's not coincidence? Could it be that this engine simply likes to run at these temperatures and there is, coincidentally, something else ruining you clutch bearing?

The fact that you say it runs consistently at these temps and the fact that it's an O.S., would seem to indicate that you have an engine that likes these temps. Guess I gave more questions than answers.lol Subscribed though, curious to see how this turns out.
