I have never had a nitro. I am relatively new to the hobby. Started with a slash 4x4. It was a great truck lots if after market hop ups. Made it fun to learn. Got an rc8.2e now with a tekin setup and it makes the slash feel like a toy. All in all I am happy with the electrics and have no wish to switch to nitro. Each to their own I guess.
