Bought a couple SMC 70c 2S packs and a 7.5T motor.

Been racing for years, I've run all kinds of brands, from reasonable to high end.

The SMC packs are on-par or better than the orange cased brand "T" packs that are rated 100C. My "T" packs don't perform the same... the SMC's do and they've got better punch through the run and don't drop off.

The SMC 7.5T motor is really a gem. Nice quality case, obviously mfg. by a reputable company and extremely similar in construction to another "name brand" motor that sells for twice the price. Compared to my Orion VST, the SMC performs nearly identical, but comes on slightly harder in the low end. The Orion is ultimately a bit smoother down low, but the SMC is a little quicker transitional torque through the midrange. The SMC is really a performer for the price point as long as it can prove itself to be durable.

I'm not sponsored and I don't come on here and write a review unless a product has really impressed me to be a quality item that performs top notch. The SMC packs and motor should put some other companies on notice.
