I just bought the p-six + 3031 combo - when i got it, my first impressions were, wow nice looking engine :-) I took it apart just to see the internals and i must say, anyone who buys this engine should rip the engine apart and clean everything, quite a lot of production/machine slacks that could ruin the engine within seconds! But I have not yet tried to start or run the engine.. right now it sits on my mantle for good looks in my living room.. I will try to remember this post and get back when i start the break in process..

But i guess this is a "you get what you pay for" engine - yet i would still prefer this engine to ANY rtr style low budget crap-mill...

**update**

Well today was break in day, and nothing bad to say about this engine, starts up real easy, idles well and keeps temperature stable.. so far no worries! 2 x 10 mins at idle on the box, and 2 x 10 mins high idle on the box, heat cycle method. Ready to hit the track and do some moderate driving..

Tip, i removed my clutch bell/shoes, this saves the bearings during all of the idle time. Also i stick an old piece of hose on to the exhaust and into a bucket of water.. this prevents neighbors yelling at you. ;-)
