I thought they looked the same. I couldn't tell the difference but i wasn't really looking. You could always depth mic the bore or just dry fit everything and see if you can get the shims in. The bore should be about .6mm or .023 (ref) shallow if it's the new compared to the old. I could see it if i looked (that's what i do for a living) average person, probably not
