See, that what I consider a real off road track!. I love those kind of bumpy looser tracks. The crazy sugared concrete like surfaces or super sticky velcro like clay indoor tracks are boring. That track takes driving and setup skills to master IMO!!!
It was by far the most loose that track has been in a while. Typically we water the heck out of it and the track is super high bite with lots of loam out of the groove. The track has a fair amount of sand and clay mixed with black dirt.
As the sun droops the moisture comes back to the top and it is really hooked up in the groove. Setup was super critical, and I didn't have it. I was running Tekno black springs on the front and yellow on the rear. I proly should have gone up to the greens in the front as I had way more steering than I needed.
The setup was really good in the qualifier before but it was a lot looser during the day.
This truck is so sensitive to setup changes... I like that a lot! If you know what your doing, you can really make this truck work anywhere. (I just wish I knew what I was doing) LOL I'm still learning.
