I'm gonna run it till it breaks....probably be in the "A" when finally get up front, 1 second left, 15 feet from the line.lol atleast ill know what to fix
thanks for your help tho
So i finally figured it out. My ring gear had a very small crack in it. Now it has a very large crack/break in it. It was coming out of a valley of the tooth, it had to be small because i just didn't see it. It wouldnt repeat all the time. I replaced the bearings in the rear diff housing again friday. Had a trophy race saturday, I was worried she wouldn't make it but i went for it anyway. It wasnt as bad as "probably be in the "A" when finally get up front, 1 second left, 15 feet from the line" I was sitting third after the first heat, start of the second when she broke. I was super loose and sloppy in the rear. Now this buggy has been out for what, a year now? I bought from tekno on release day. Ive ran the crap out of this thing every single week. She has taken it with a big smile, asking for me for more. Gust an FYI, Ive been chasing this problem for while now. I would have never thought it was a crack in the ring gear, I have never broke one like this....or ever. Just a fluke.
Now i get to talk to the account (wife) and request money for updated diff, pinion, and gearbox!!! Then in a month explain how my kit is just too worn out and need a .2 for the fall season, while i secretly rebuild her better/fast/stronger and ready for outdoor.....O my, this is a blessing in disguise
