One thing to watch out for with the new arms is that if you hit something hard enough to break one, you will probably kill other parts too. I had one impact that did not break the arm but bent the hinge pin so much that it pulled out of the holders and mangled the shock. I have gone back to running the original arms on the front with the XT arms on the rear.
+1 i tried the xt arms up front and had similar results. The hinge-pin-hole on the arm was warped and the hinge-pin was bent badly. The arm didn't break, but i have since switched to the regular arms so i get a clean break if it does happen.
