The conservatives are sticking with either 1.6 or 1.7 flat piston.
Most have tried the 3x1.4 machined taper including me .
I have been using for the front shocks .
What I do know from testing & my team mates ....
The 3x1.4 machine taper add pack and less grip for the rear shocks .
Less or smoother steering for front shocks...
1.6 flat rear is plusher, less pack , more traction for rear,
More steering for front...
1.7 flat rear better for the extra pack , good for jumps & high traction conditions...
Smoother steering for front shocks ...
Hope this helps everyone ...
