Castle will blame anyone, if you have a 65c Lipo but it's only 700mah I can assure you it'll perform worse than a 8000mah 20C pack.

Try resoldering your motor plugs on the ESC, could be a dry solder joint. Also make sure you're set to brushless and not brushed through Castle Link.

But ultimately, get a reliable esc.
