thats what i do, i plug the lipo onto the charger and hit sorage mde, and then then the volts pop up and it tells me how many volts are in each cell, i usualy tend to run them to 3.7 and then recharge from there as i am racing, and then i let em sit at that voltage!!
While you may never experience any problems, it's been proven time and time again that you should store your lipos at 3.8v per cell. Not 4.2v. And believe it or not, that's where you should cut them off at when running as well. This procedure will help the longevity and keep the IR low throughout the packs lifetime.
