3rd Annual East Coast GT8 Championship, hosted by Sweep Racing at Brooklyn, NY. FBF
Its that time of the year again!
We are going to gather together again at Floyd Bennett Field in NYC to race our GT8, yes, this is a GT8 only event!
Schedule: Labor day weekend of 2013
- 8/31/2013: Practice 9AM -12:00PM, Race start 1:00 PM 2 QUAL
- 9/1/2013: Practice 9AM- 11:30AM Practice: 12:00PM Race start 2 QUAL follow by Mains
Classes and general rules: up to a single 2 stroke 28 engine, a single 150cc Fuel tank, Personal AMB transponder, fail safe, carb returning spring mandatory, 3.5Kg Min weight, any commercial rubber tire & GT body allowed.
- GT8 Expert: $40 entree, 10Min Qual, 45min A-Main 15 Min B main 10 min rest
- GT8 Sportsman: $20 Entree, 5Min QUAL. 20 Min A-main, 10 min rest. up to 4 pairs of tires allowed during the race (tires will be impounds during the event)
- GT8e: Please start a roll call, if more than 5 confirmed entrees, we will run em too.
