They are ok, it's been a long time since I ran the stock or tapered Serpent pistons so I can't compare. I'm running CSI blacks in my gas car. For now the CSI serpent pistons are discontinued so they will get harder to find. Though I think you can drill out some of the other brands center hole so they might work still.
The theory behind them makes sense, i just havent actually ordered some yet. I have a bunch of serpent pistons laying around already so ill probably use those. if you and david want some just ask, never hurts to try.
